• Admission is open to the candidates belonging to all the districts of Orissa and outside the state residing in Orissa.
• The candidates for training should be between the age of  14 to 40 years as on 1st August 2014 ( Starting of Academic Session).
• Additional weightage will be given to the candidates having higher percentage of marks.
• The candidates selected by the selection committee of the Institute will be intimated by post to take admission by due date.
• The trade of their choice can be allotted ,subject to availability of seat in the particular trade and his aptitude for the same.
• No extension of time can be allowed after the fixed date of admission.
• Selection of candidates for admission will be made on merit cum suitability basis after getting approval from DTE&T, Orissa.

• The entire course fee becomes payable at the time of admission. Installment may be allowed in special cases. In this connection post dated cheques have to submit at the time of admission.
• If the student is allowed to take admission under instalment scheme, he has to clear all the dues on or before the stipulated date.
• If the student will not clear the dues in time, the Institute will not be responsible for his registration in the council.
• If a student will leave the Institute for any reason either immediately after admission or in the middle of the course etc., the fees paid will be forfeited and action will be taken to recover the balance dues. In such cases no fees will be refunded.
• Fees should be paid only at the office cash counter & receipt must be obtained. 

Every candidate will have to give an undertaking at the time of admission to the effect that:

• He/She will abide by the rules and regulations of the Institute and Hostel.
  
• Pay the fee of the Institution in time.
  
• He/She will be regular in classes if absent an application along with guardian’s recommendation will be submitting to the Principal through the concerned ATO. Reason for absent should be genuine otherwise the student will paid Rs. 10/- for each absent.
  
• Violation of rules of the Institution/Hostel as per undertaking by the trainee is liable for discharge and the Institute will have the right to recover from his/her cost of damage caused of such amount, as they deem fit.
  
• If any trainee discontinue his study he will have to pay minimum 50% of the course fee.
